My Philosophy

Hi! I’m Angela and I practice the Functional Medicine Healthcare model which aims to address the root cause of symptoms by linking each individual's book of life with their environment and lifestyle factors.

Higher Health is the result of a personal health and well-being journey I started 5 years ago in Bristol. As with many wellness journeys, it began with a desire to heal myself and a refusal (or stubbornness) to accept that my quality of life was to be limited by constant pain and my daily activities determined by avoiding possible triggers. Having tried everything conventional medicine had to offer, I believed there was something my body was trying to tell me and I began to listen. This path has taken me to places I haven’t always wanted to go both mentally and physically, but it has given me better control over my health and made me grateful that I can now experience life to the fullest. Now working as a registered Nutritional Therapist and Healthy Living Pharmacist, it has also made me passionate about sharing knowledge and advice that I didn’t have to help others on their wellness journey.

As a healthcare professional with over 15 years experience working in patient centered care, I provide information and practical nutritional advice using the most recent evidence based research to enhance and enable health empowerment.
