Smoothies

Smoothies are a great way of getting in much needed nutrients quick. For highest nutrient value it’s best to consume your smoothie within the first 48 hours. They’re also really handy to freeze into lollies or ice cube snacks for little ones as you’d be surprised what you can hide in them!

Beetroot & Berry smoothie

This smoothie is high in vitamins antioxidants and nitrates which help lower blood pressure, support the liver and reduce inflammation in the body

  • 1 punnet strawberries

  • 1 handful raspberries

  • 1 tsp açai powder (optional)

  • 2-3 pitted dates

  • 1 small beetroot peeled

  • 200ml milk of choice

  • 1 handful spinach leaves

Blend all together until smooth. If drinking as a breakfast smoothie add handful of almonds for protein and use coconut milk to keep you full.
