Coconut & Almond Protein balls
Ingredients
120g ground almonds
60g nut butter
60g dessicated coconut
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp melted coconut oil
3 tbsp water
40g dark chocolate
Method
Preheat oven to 150 degrees C
Mix all ingredients except for the chocolate together in a large mixing bowl
Line a baking tray with baking paper and roll the mixture into balls using your hands. Makes about 14 small balls or 9 large
Place the balls onto the lined tray and bake for 10 minutes
When the balls are done remove from the oven and allow to cool
In the meantime gently melt the chocolate in a pan
When the balls are completely cooled, drizzle or dip each ball into the melted chocolate and pop in the fridge to set
