Coconut & Almond Protein balls

Ingredients
120g ground almonds
60g nut butter
60g dessicated coconut
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp melted coconut oil
3 tbsp water
40g dark chocolate

Method

  • Preheat oven to 150 degrees C

  • Mix all ingredients except for the chocolate together in a large mixing bowl

  • Line a baking tray with baking paper and roll the mixture into balls using your hands. Makes about 14 small balls or 9 large

  • Place the balls onto the lined tray and bake for 10 minutes

  • When the balls are done remove from the oven and allow to cool

  • In the meantime gently melt the chocolate in a pan

  • When the balls are completely cooled, drizzle or dip each ball into the melted chocolate and pop in the fridge to set
