Roasted Nut & Seed Butter
A good way to get your nuts and seeds in! Easy and quick to make, high in protein, plant lignans and good fats. Makes a tasty filling snack spread on oatcakes or fresh sough dough.
A mix of your choice of nuts and seeds. I like to use:
70g sunflower seeds
60g pumpkin seeds
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C
Place nuts and seeds onto a baking tray and roast in the oven for about 20 mins until they turn golden brown.
Allow to cool then add to high powered food processor with a pinch of salt
Blend until smooth
Store in airtight container in the fridge for up to a month
